Slottsholmen Hotell & Restaurang AB begins collaboration with Generation Waste.

Slottsholmen Hotel & Restaurant is a business in the archipelago town of Västervik in Småland. Slottsholmen was founded in 2018 by ABBA profile Björn Ulvaeus and is today run by the Ulvaeus family. In the kitchen, they work with high-quality, local ingredients, where the menu is often inspired by Björn's upbringing in Västervik and taste experiences from his rehearsals and performances around the world.

At Slottsholmen, we have a focused and long-term perspective on sustainability. We see the cooperation with Generation Waste as a good added value in our environmental work. Eventually, we believe that keeping track of food waste can lead to increased profitability and less impact on the environment,'' says Frida Schildt, Marketing Manager, Slottsholmen Hotell & Restaurant.

Through the collaboration with Generation Waste, Slottholmen hopes to get a better overview of how much food is thrown away in their restaurants. They hope, with the help of the statistics generated by Generation Waste, to be able to reduce food waste and increase awareness among their employees.
