Ingredients
4 onions (double if using shallots)
1 dl vinegar spirit 12%
2 dl sugar
3 dl water
2 krm salt
1 pinch of white pepper
Steps:
Peel and halve the onions, then cut them into strips
Bring vinegar, sugar, water, salt, and pepper to a boil
Add the onions and let the layers and onions cool
When the law and the onions have cooled, put them in a sterilized glass jar
Pour over so it covers the onions
Does not cover the layer, mix into more layer and pour over 1 part vinegar, 2 parts water, and 3 parts sugar
Store cool and dark or in the fridge after opening the jar. Then it lasts for several weeks if the jar is cleaned well
Pickled and done!
