Hotel Rusthållargården begins collaboration with Generation Waste

There, we have recently started a collaboration with the historic Hotel Rusthållargården in charming Arild at the foot of Kullaberg. The king's soldiers used to live here, armed to defend our country's border. Now it is a unique place to enjoy tasty food, spa, and accommodation. This gem is now advancing its sustainability work by starting to measure its food waste from breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the goal of reducing food waste and strengthening its brand as a sustainable destination.

The commitment from the chefs and the location manager is great, so this is how we are guaranteed to reach the national goal of halving food waste by 2030.

Hotel Rusthållargården is Swan-labelled and cares for its local producers. Here you eat locally grown food both from the al a carte menu and the pizza oven.
